The case of the disappearing bangs! Make-up free Kylie Jenner ditches clip-in fringe from AMAs to run errands in LA

She wowed onlookers at the American Music Awards on Sunday with her new on-trend hairdo, revealing heavy bangs in her chocolate Ombre tresses. 
But the next day, Kylie Jenner’s fringe had disappeared and she sported her usual long sleek locks as she stepped out in Los Angeles. 
The 16-year-old reality TV star most likely used a clip-in fringe, often referred to as a 'winge', to achieve her look at the awards and after impressing with her stylish outfit on the red carpet, she gave herself a day off on Monday.

Kylie dressed down in a baggy grey sweater, black leggings and ankle boots and went completely make-up free for her excursion.

She also carried a black handbag as she enjoyed a day out in the LA sunshine.
However, Kylie’s look was a far cry from the AMAs where she impressed in a designer outfit.

The younger of the Jenner sisters looked slender in a monochrome ensemble, consisting of a pair of black velvet trousers from designer Giambatista Valli, and a Maiyet white midriff-baring top. 
She bolstered her height with a pair of sheer Barbara Bui ankle booties and toted a quilted Chanel clutch.  
Kylie was accompanied at the AMAs by her older sister Kendall.

The 18-year-old star went for something much more revealing, showing off her supermodel worthy pins in a risque Keepsake white mini skirt teamed with a matching white strapless crop top.
However, she opted to cover her decolletage with a statement necklace from Dylanex, featuring silver chain and rhinestone detail.
Parting her hair down the middle and tucking it behind her ears, the teenager went for a simple look with her locks.

Her sleek appearance was completed by a pair of nude Manolo Blahnik stilettos and a miniature silver clutch.
The girls were representing the Kardashian/Jenner clan with their elder and more famous sister Kim in New York with fiance Kanye West and their mother Kris Jenner, and Khloe in Australia promoting her and her sisters fashion line, Kardashian Kollection. 
Kourtney is also on the East Coast, spending some down time with partner Scott Disick and their two children, Mason and Penelope.
